Dennise Tonn
Dennise Tonn Hunt is a resident of Grove City, Ohio . A graduate of Otterbein College and Capital University Law School’s paralegal program, she is an active member of the Grove City Arts Council. She expresses her creativity through sketch art, photography and the occasional oil painting.
Her sketch art and custom note cards utilize a charcoal pencil medium. Dennise produces a new sketched Christmas card each year. The seasonal cards have appealed to collectors and casual art lovers alike, as well as her non-seasonal subjects.
Dennise’s photography has won multiple awards. Most recently, she won Best of Show at the 2010 Arts in the Alley photography exhibit.
Dennise uses a variety of subjects for her work and uses photography as an inspiration for her sketches and paintings. “Art is a very personal and subjective endeavor. As a realist, I want to convey the beauty that is all around us just as it appears, as well as create an image that will speak to others and give them as much pleasure as it gives me.”
Her sketched note cards are available in The Sommer House Gallery in Grove City, as well as her photography. Her artwork can be seen at the Grove City Arts in the Alley festival and exhibits around central Ohio. Contact her at: creative64@rocketmail.com
